I only listed out 9 things never to do in China, but 9 is not perfect, I think 10 is better, so the last one thing is not really. Actually, you just need to know that 9 things never to do.

Never wearing Green Hat

Green Hat has another mean in China, it means the man’s wife is a bitch, so don’t wearing green hat, don’t make green hat for gift to friends. If recieved the green hat from a friend, there are two reasons: 1. he is not a really friend for you; 2. looking carefully your wife;

Never aim person with chopsticks

Chopsticks can only point to foods and dishes, never point to person. If your chopsticks point to your friends, it means you are talking dirty to your friends. If you point to stranger in your chopsticks, they may fight with you.

Never point to anyone with teapot mouth

The teapot’s mouth likes the chopsticks, point to someone means you are cursing him. So, don’t point it to any person. There is a problem, how to placing it on the round table? The answer is don’t placing it on the glass disc, put it on the side of the table, and make sure there is no person before its mouth.

Never cursing police

I think never cursing polices all over the world, this is a common sense. But my friends told me that people could cursing police in Japan, and that’s nothing. So I think that’s interesting, because if you cursing police in China, you will be throwed into prison.

Never cross road without eye

In China, driver never slow down when they are driving, even more, there is green light, you have to more be carefully, check left and right, make sure there is no cars, make sure you are safe when you preparing cross the road.

Never pay tip in hotels or coffee shops

Usually, the waiters do not allowed to recieve tip. So, unless they are requiring, you don’t need to pay tip. Telephone and delivery services also don’t need tip.

Never donate beggers on road

There are lots of beggers on roads and subways, don’t donating them, do not deceived by their appearance, they are more rich than you and me. Beg is their jobs, after work they will change clothes and go shopping. More about The professional beggars in Beijing

Never buy Chinese Antique

There is no antique, all fake. Read this article you will know why, Do not buy any curio if you come to China

Never discussing politics

Discussing politics is a dangerous sport, you never know what could say and what could not say. If you talking some thing wrong, the polices will find you and talking with you, in some where.

Never close your web browser without comments

Hey, this one is not really, just need your comment here, so please give me a comment, I will very happy to reading your thoughts.

Hmmmm, I see people in Beijing crossing the street without looking many times every day. Even on bicycles. Even on bicycles with a child sitting in back. I can’t believe it, but I’ve seen it every day for the past eight years in Beijing, so I know it happens often.

@Mon The most beggers not poor, begging is their jobs. I read a news said that they could earn more then 500RMB (about 90 dollars) per day.
