How to say it in English?

This entry was posted on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007.

I tried to use Google Translate to translating a Chinese word to English, but it has no result. Then, I use the other translating software, but no result too.

The Chinese word is describe the weather, it sound like HuoShaoYun, means Fired Cloudy.

When sunset, the cloudy is turned red, like fire, very beautiful. But I don’t know how to say it in English, can you tell me?

There isn’t an English phrase for it as there is in Chinese. You would just describe it as you did — red like fire, or fiery red clouds.

Although there is a saying associated with it:

Red sky at night,
Shepherd’s delight.
Red sky in the morning,
Shepherd’s warning.
