My photos used to be uploaded to Flickr, but there are far from being flawless. So I installed Gallery2, an online photo album organizer, on the server, from now on, the photos will be uploaded in my own albums.

Flickr is a perfect service, but it has shortcomings for me. For example, the 200 photos limit for free members, can not modify the templates, can not insert google analytic’s codes, and so on.

Gallery2 solved the Flickr’s shortcomings. It is a web based software product that manage the photos on website.

With Gallery I can easily create and maintain albums of photos via an intuitive interface. Photo management includes automatic thumbnail creation, image resizing, rotation, ordering, captioning, searching and more.

Albums and photos can have view, edit, delete and other permissions per individual authenticated user for an additional level of privacy.

The bandwidth is the price that is pay for flexibility. In any event, I believe it is more rewarding for my blog.

The bulk of the photos has not been moved to Gallery2 now, through hard work and endurance, I will complete this work. If you like my photos, save my album in your bookmark, and paying regular visits to it please :)
