Some days ago, I blogged china’s four great beauties. And today’s subject is the four great classical novels of Chinese literature. Yeah, I think we Chinese like the lucky number.

Journey to the West

The Four Great Classical Novels, or Four Major Classical Novels of Chinese literature, are the four novels commonly counted by scholars to be the greatest and most influential in classical Chinese fiction.

They are: Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, and Dream of the Red Chamber. Wikipedia described these novels in detail, so if you are interested in them, clicking the links to read them in Wikipedia.

I just want to write something in my views:

Journey to the West - There are many many many many films and movies are converted from this novel subject, so whenever you turn on TV you always find it.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms - Japanese seems to like this novel very much, because there are a lot of Three Kingdoms’ games were developed in Japan.

Water Margin - Water Margin seems Robin Hood, Robin Hood seems Water Margin.

Dream of the Red Chamber - This story is about two big families, there are hundreds of characters appear in the novel, I don’t like this novel because it is too difficult for me.
