Mark Rowswell is Canadian, his Chinese name is Dashan, means Huge Mountain, he attracts millions of people everywhere he goes in China because of his celebrity.

1988, Dashan graduated from Toronto, then he went to Beijing University studied Chinese. He named LuShiwei at that time. Fortuitous, he performed an opusculum at Spring Festival Gala Evening, it made him to became a famous personage in China. Then, he named his name from LuShiwei to Dashan, it’s the name of the player’s in the opusculum.

1989, Dashan started study Chinese comic dialogue. Since that time, he has regularly appeared on Chinese television as a comedian and TV host to audiences as large as 800 million. Eight out of 10 Chinese know him.
