I read my flickr again and again, but there is no enough photos for this subject, so I searched the other’s photo in Creative Commons-license. There are more than 10 photos from others, thanks them very much. The thanks list at the bottom of this article.

This is a new style for me, I will show some thing that you don’t know about China. I blogged What do U want to know most about China before, but I found my English is not good, so I decided use more photos this time.

There are 20 things that are banned in China, actually the banned things here are much more than 20, but it is a huge project to writting all of them here. So I think 20 is a good number, it is not too much and not too little.

Are you able to share your personal thoughts on some of these? Discussing politices, in the United States, is huge and incredibly important to us.

These are very interesting points. Just to be balanced, there are exceptions to many of these points. Minorities, for example, can be buried and also can have more than one child. (Minorities make up approximately 6% of the population of China.) Couples can also have two children if both parents are only children. And of course, people often have more than one child if they are willing to pay the fine, approximately $30,000 (U.S. dollars) if I remember correctly. People do discuss politics with friends when they want to, in other words, almost never! I’ve heard thousands of comments critical of the government, without any prompting on my part. There are more examples but you get the idea.

Hi Shangning, banning of discussion of politics and banning of media channels is unimaginable here in the Philippines. LOL, but I do like the total gun ban that you have.

I have a question though, are you still in Beijing, how do you open your Facebook page?

@Eehui If your mobile has WIFI function, it’s okay, they work fine in China. You hardly buy these wifi mobiles in Chinese shop. Nokia5800w and iPhone have wifi function and you could buy them from shop.
